2. The petitioner is apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable in connection with Laheri P.S. Case No.508 of 2024 under Section 140(2) of the BNS, 2023 pending before the court of C.J.M., Biharsharif, Nalanda.
3. As per the prosecution, the FIR has been lodged against five unknown accused persons against whom there is allegation of kidnapping of informant's son and demanded ransom amount of Rs.5 lac and threatened to kill his son.
4. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. He submits that the petitioner is not named in the FIR and his name has figured in this case by virtue of confessional statement of co-

He further submits that the petitioner has unnecessarily been made accused in this case only due to the reason that his antecedent is not clean. There are 4 criminal cases pending against him in which he is on bail in all cases.
5. Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that allegation of kidnapping and demand of ransom is there against the petitioner. He further submits that the petitioner has been identified by the co-accused and victim.
6. In the present facts and circumstances, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner, therefore the bail application of the petitioner is hereby rejected. (Dr. Anshuman, J.) Prakashmani/- U T
