The petitioenr seeks anticipatory bail in connection with Pipra Kothi P S Case No. 110 of 2018 instituted for the offences under Sections 302, 120B and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

The petitioner has four criminal antecedents of different nature of allegation. In the present case, allegation has been made that on 18.06.2018 the husband of the informant went to Motihari to attend a marriage function of the daughter of Ex-Sarpanch. On 19.06.2018, at about 12 o' clock, the sister of the informant namely Nirmala Devi called over mobile phone of the younger daughter of the informant, namely, Lovely Kumari and informed that her husband has been shot dead at

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.59040 of 2018(2) dt.08-10-2018 2/2 Math Banwari Chowk, PS Pipra Kothi and the dead body was taken to the Sadar Hospital, Motihari. It is also alleged that the co-accused Satendra Singh who is her brother-in-law and his sons always put pressure upon the deceased to transfer some land in their favour and the deceased always refused to accept it. The petitioner has criminal antecedent.

From the order sheet it has come that Rana Kumar and Ram Bahadur Singh @ Bhuwar Singh have made confessional statements and have taken the name of the petitioner and given details of the incident. Looking into the facts of the case and regard being had to the criminal antecedents of the petitioner, this application is rejected.
