Petitioner prays for bail in connection with Parbatta P.S.Case No. 54 of 2018 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 25(1-B)(a) and 26(i) of the Arms Act. Allegation against the petitioner is of recovery of one country made pistol and 19 live cartridges from his possession and he is accused in one more case.
Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that he has falsely been implicated in this case and he is in custody for five months and charge has been framed in this case. Heard learned APP also.
Having heard both sides and in the facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. However, learned trial court is directed to conclude the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.61278 of 2018 (2) dt.11-10-2018 2/2 trial within a period of six months. If trial is not concluded within the said period, petitioner may renew his prayer for bail. With the above observation, this application is dismissed. (Vinod Kumar Sinha, J) spal/- U T
