Versus

The State of Bihar ... ... Opposite Party/s ====================================================== Appearance :

For the Petitioner/s :

Mr. Vindhyachal Singh, Mr.Ravi Nandan, Advocates.

For the Opposite Party/s : Mr. Akshay Lal Pandit, APP ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 07-04-2021 Heard Mr. Vindhyachal Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Akshay Lal Pandit, Additional Public Prosecutor for the State through video conferencing. This is the second attempt for bail on behalf of petitioner inasmuch as earlier application for bail of petitioner was rejected by this Court in Cr. Misc. No. 14400/2020 by order dated 05.06.2020.

It appears that petitioner has preferred Special Leave to Appeal (Crl) bearing No. 4041/2020 against the order dated 05.06.2020 passed by this Court in Cr. Misc. No. 14400/2020 and the Hon'ble Apex Court has been pleased to dismiss the said Special Leave to Appeal filed by the petitioner vide order dated 24.09.2020.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.9966 of 2021(2) dt.07-04-2021 2/2 The allegation, as per First Information Report, is that unknown criminals, got the brother of the informant, shot dead and looted away the bag containing cash. Learned counsel for the petitioner has not brought on record any new development since the rejection of earlier bail application on merit. Accordingly, I am not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner at this stage. The same is, hereby, rejected. However, petitioner may renew his prayer for bail after nine months from today if the trial does not show any progress.
