In this case, the petitioner is seeking bail in connection with Kazi Mohammadpur P.S. Case No.150 of 2016 registered for offences under Sections 395 and 412 of the Indian Penal Code.
It is a case of Bank dacoity. In broad daylight, six persons entered into the Bank and looted a sum of Rs.47,08,631/- and fled away. The name of the petitioner has come during investigation and heavy amount has been recovered, is said to be looted money of Bank and also he has
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.43043 of 2016 (3) dt.23-11-2016 made confessional statement before police of being involved in the crime.
In that view of the matter, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
The court below is directed to expedite the trial of the petitioner and conclude the same within a period of nine months from today and if the trial is not concluded within the aforesaid period of nine months, the petitioner will have a liberty to renew his prayer for bail before this Court.
