The petitioner seeks bail in Teghra P.S. Case No.171 of 2016 instituted for the offences under Sections 302 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation has been made that body of the victim was found lying dead. Later on it transpires that death has taken place on account of withdrawal of criminal case which was lodged by the victim. From the case diary it appears that petitioner has made statement before the police and stated the manner he has committed the crime. The cause of death is supported by post mortem report.

Looking to the nature of allegation, this Court is not

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.39339 of 2016 (3) dt.22-10-2016 inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly the prayer for bail is rejected. However, trial court is directed to expedite the trial.
