None appeared on behalf of the petitioners, despite repeated calls. State is, however, represented. The present anticipatory bail application has been registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise, registered in connection with Baikunthpur P.S.Case No. 325 of 2020.

Since Section 76(2) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016 makes an explicit embargo on entertaining the application under Section 438 of the Cr.P.C., the present
