Petitioner prays for bail in connection with Jaynagar P.S.Case No. 190 of 2018, corresponding to C.R.I. Case No. 730 of 2018, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 337 and 307 of the Indian Penal Code.
Allegation against the petitioner is of assault by stones on the head of informant, causing grievous injury. Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that he has falsely been implicated in this case due to dirty village politics and he is in custody since 1.8.2018.
Heard learned APP also.
Having heard both sides and in view of allegation, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.
