Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner seeks regular bail in Bikramganj Police Station Case No. 357 of 2020 registered for the offences punishable under sections 392/411 of the Indian Penal Code. It is alleged that three persons riding on motorcycle suddenly reached near the informant and snatched cash Rs.22,000/- from his pocket on the point of gun. At the relevant time, informant was trying to change his punctured Tyre of his truck.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. No incriminating material has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. Petitioner has got clean antecedent as stated in paragraph 3 of the bail petition. Petitioner is in custody since 18.8.2020.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that the petitioner had been chased by the police and was arrested on the spot and a part of looted money has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. Considering the rival submissions of the parties
