The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Goraul P.S. Case No. 192/2014, registered for the offences punishable under Section 364A of the Indian Penal Code.

It is submitted that the petitioner is named in the FIR, but the victim did not name the petitioner in his statement under Section 164 of the Cr.P.C.

It appears that the petitioner asked the victim to pay ransom of Rs. 7,00,000/- and in the presence of the petitioner, the victim was kidnapped. Considering the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner above named on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
