Petitioner seeks bail in Sikandra P.S. Case No.196 of 2018 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 272, 273 Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that there is no recovery of any illicit liquor form the possession of the petitioner. The seizure list does not bear his signature. He has been arrested merely on suspicion. The seizure list is part of the First Information Report, which does not bear the signature of the petitioner. He is in custody since 29.08.2018 having clean antecedents.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional District and Sessions Judge, IInd, Jamui, in connection with Sikandra P.S. Case No.196 of 2018, subject to the condition that both the bailors shall be close relative of the petitioner.
