2. The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3⁄4 of the D.P. Act.

3. In compliance of the order dated 05.03.2024 the petitioner and the O.P. No.2 are present in the Court along with their respective learned counsels.

4. The O.P. No.2 who is present in-person submits that she is staying with the petitioner at Kolkata. It is also submitted that petitioner is taking good care of her and has not assaulted her.

5. The petitioner who is present in-person submits that presently he is posted at Pathankot near Pakistan border, it is also submitted that the conjugal relationship has revived and petitioner will ensure that the O.P. No.2 stays with him with honour and dignity.

6. The learned APP opposes the anticipatory bail application.

7. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail-bonds in the sum of Rs.2000/- (Rupees Two Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned S.D.J.M., Gopalganj in connection with Complaint Case No.2120 of 2022, Trial No.2126 of 2023, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.

8. The application stands allowed.
