Petitioner is languishing in custody since 25.07.2016 in connection with Complaint Case No. 383 of 2003/Tr. No. 62 of 2016 for offences punishable under Sections 323/504 of the Indian Penal Code.

This is a case of misuse of privilege of bail for nine years. The petitioner was arrested by the police and thereafter he is in custody from 25.07.2016.

Considering the period of custody already undergone by the petitioner, he is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub-

If the petitioner shall not co-operate with the trial, the learned trial court shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner and take him into custody.
