The petitioner seeks bail in Lalganj P.S. Case No.246 of 2018, registered under Section 414 of the Indian Penal Code. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was alleged to have committed theft of a Pick-up Van bearing Registration No. JH10AM1811.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was apprehended on chase. The Pick-up Van was parked near Malang Hat. Nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. The petitioner had no knowledge about the theft of the Pick-up Van. Petitioner is in jail since 10.07.2018 and he has got no criminal antecedent as stated in para 3 of the bail petition.

Taking into consideration the facts aforesaid,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.61425 of 2018(2) dt.06-10-2018 2/2 petitioner, above named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned CJM, Vaishali at Hajipur in connection with Lalganj P.S. Case No.246 of 2018.
