.... .... Respondent/s =========================================================== CORAM: HON'BLE MR JUSTICE NAVANITI PRASAD SINGH And HON'BLE MR JUSTICE VIKASH JAIN ORAL JUDGMENT (Per: HONOURABLE MR JUSTICE NAVANITI PRASAD SINGH) Date: 14-02-2017 A counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of respondent No 2, the Superintendent of Police, Bhojpur at Ara. 2 We have noted the facts of the case in our order dated 16.01.2017 in some great details. It is pursuant to the aforesaid order that the Superintendent of Police has now constituted a Special Task Force to make efforts to trace out the petitioner's wife and minor daughter. We only hope that it is now too late in the day inasmuch as they disappeared, allegedly kidnapped by the persons named in the first information report in July 2015, taking special initiatives after almost one and half years, we wonder what result will be yielded.

Patna High Court Cr. WJC No.1269 of 2016 dt.14-02-2017 Only if prompt action had been taken when it was required to be taken, not only there were chances of recovery of the persons but one of the persons, who is said to have been shot by this petitioner, would have been alive today, all because of callousness of the police. 3 Anyhow as the Superintendent of Police has stated that he is personally taking interest in the matter, in the hope that that interest would remain alive till actual recovery is made, we dispose of this writ petition as there is nothing more for this Court to adjudicate.
