The petitioner seeks bail in Warisaliganj P.S. Case No. 298/2018, instituted for the offences under Sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code read with Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

120 litres of country made liquor and some articles meant for manufacturing of liquor have been recovered from the southern side of the Kirana shop of petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that petitioner has clean antecedent. He is in custody since 23.08.2018. Considering the clean antecedent and period of custody of petitioner, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.62092 of 2018 (2) dt.10-10-2018 2/2 Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Addl. Sessions Judge IInd-cum-Special Judge (Excise), Nawada in connection with Warisaliganj P.S. Case No. 298/2018, subject to the conditions that both the bailors shall be the close relative of the petitioner.
