2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Patepur P.S. Case No. 228 of 2024, dated 02.08.2024, instituted for the offences under Sections 127(1), 115(2), 109, 303(2), 76 and 351(2) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

3. As per the prosecution case, the informant was assaulted by the petitioner by iron rod as a result of which she received head injury.

4. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he has falsely been implicated in this case. The petitioner and the informant are next door neighbours and due to some petty dispute between the parties, the occurrence took place. It has further been submitted that the petitioner, who is in custody since 17.05.2025, has one criminal antecedent, wherein he is on bail.

5. The learned counsel for the petitioner also submits that the charge-sheet in this case has already been submitted against the petitioner and there is no chance of the petitioner tampering with the evidence or absconding during the course of trial. The petitioner, it has been submitted, undertakes to cooperate in the trial.

6. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State opposes the prayer for grant of bail to the

7. Considering the submissions made on behalf of the parties as well as the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner above-named be released on bail on his furnishing bail-bond in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge-VIII, Vaishali at Hajipur in connection with Patepur P.S. Case No. 228 of 2024.

8. The application stands allowed.
