2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Jadopur P. S. Case No. 161 of 2023, registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Amendment Act, 2018.

3. As per prosecution, 270 litres of foreign liquor has been recovered from the tractor trolley. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 04.07.2023

4. Learned APP has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

5. Considering the aforesaid fact, this application is allowed.

6. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.54524 of 2023(2) dt.25-08-2023 2/2 on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gopalganj in connection with Jadopur P.S. Case No. 161 of 2023.

7. This is also subject to the condition that the petitioner shall mark his presence in Bathwariya Police Station, District- West Champaran on first Sunday of every month, failing which, his bail bonds shall be cancelled by the court below.
