This application for regular bail arises out of Udakishunganj P.S. Case No. 64 of 2020, disclosing offence punishable under Sections 304-B/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner is father-in-law of the victim, who, allegedly, died within three years of her marriage with the petitioner's son.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has taken this Court to the First Information Report to contend that there is no specific allegation against the petitioner of making any demand of dowry. He has submitted that such allegations are vague, general in nature and against all members

Considering the general nature of allegation against the petitioner in relation to demand of dowry and the fact that there is no allegation that soon before the victim's death there was any such demand made, this application is allowed. Let the petitioner, above-named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand), with two sureties of the like amount, each to the satisfaction of learned ACJM-1, Madhepura, in Udakishunganj P.S.
