The petitioner is in custody in connection with Tajpur P.S. (Halai O.P.) Case No. 139 of 2019 (G.R. NO. 636 of 2019)for the offences under Sections 323, 341, 379, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 37(C) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. Informant of this case is wife of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 26.05.2019. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the statement of wife of the petitioner is that petitioner used to physically torture the informant it is alleged that petitioner has

Considering the fact that petitioner has no criminal antecedent, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, let the petitioner, named above, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Court of learned A.D.J.Iind-cum-Special Judge, Excise, Samastipur in connection with Tajpur P.S. (Halai O.P.) P.S. Case No. 139 of 2019 (G.R. No. 636/2019). The Court below after releasing the petitioner shall refer the dispute between parties to District Mediation Center so that the dispute between husband and wife may be settled.
