The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Begusarai Mahila P.S. Case No.5 of 2019 registered under Sections 323, 341, 498A, 313 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.
The informant alleged that she got acquaintance with Amit Kumar and thereafter Amit Kumar established physical relation with her. They were residing in a rented house. The informant become pregnant. She further alleged that Amit Kumar solemnised marriage with her in a temple at Deoghar and also solemnised marriage in a temple situated at Begusarai. Amit Kumar deserted her in the rented house and fled away. When the informant went to the house of Amit Kumar, the petitioner is alleged to have ordered to assault the victim and did

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is father-in-law of the informant. The son of the petitioner solemnised love marriage with the informant and they were residing separately. The petitioner has nowhere concerned with his son and the informant. The informant made allegation against the petitioner only to put undue pressure on the petitioner.
Taking into consideration the facts aforesaid and nature of allegation made against the petitioner and the fact that the petitioner is father-in-law of the informant, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the order, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned S.D.J.M., Begusarai in connection with Begusarai Mahila P.S. Case No.5 of 2019, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
