JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 18-02-2022 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. Petitioner seeks regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 304B/120/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is a case of dowry death and petitioner happens to be father-in-law of the deceased.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner is father-in-law of the deceased and he is separate from the deceased and her husband in mess and property. There is no specific allegation of overt act against this petitioner. Petitioner is in custody since 28.07.2021 and investigation in this case is complete.

Learned counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail.
