Petitioner apprehends his arrest in Minapur P.S. Case No.135 of 2019, registered under Sections 341, 323 and 354(A) of the Indian Penal Code as well as under Sections 8/12 of the POCSO Act.

The gist of the allegation is that while the daughter of the informant was returning from Holika Dahan, petitioner is said to have caught her with an intention to outrage her modesty and the petitioner dragged her in a maize field but on alarm villagers came and saved the victim.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is land dispute between the parties and the case is compromised. On the face of allegation, it appears that the petitioner

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.50625 of 2019(2) dt.14-08-2019 2/2 made an abortive attempt to outrage the modesty of a minor girl, therefore, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
