2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Sessions Trial No. 242 of 2024 arising out of Karpurigram P.S. Case No. 135 of 2023 lodged on 17.11.2023, for the offence punishable under Sections 399/402 of the Indian Penal Code and sections 25(1-b)a/26/35 of the Arms Act, pending in the Court of Additional Sessions Judge 6th, Samastipur.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the regular bail application of the petitioner was earlier rejected vide order dated 04.09.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 64724 of 2024 directing the trial court to expedite the trial as early as possible. Counsel submits that he has filed supplementary affidavit in this case.

4. Upon perusal of the said supplementary affidavit, it transpires that the petitioner has been acquitted in Karpurigram P.S. Case No. 134 of 2023. However, with respect to the remaining six cases, no indication has been made in the supplementary affidavit or in any supporting documents from which this Court can ascertain whether the petitioner is absconding in those cases or not.

5. In this view of the matter, this Court has no option but to close the present case, granting liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh bail application whenever he becomes aware of pending cases wherein he is shown as absconding.

6. As such, with the aforesaid direction, this bail application stands disposed off.
