The petitioner seeks bail in Banka P.S. Case No. 714 of 2017, instituted for the offence under Section(s) 452, 354(B), 341, 323, 325, 379 and 506/34 of Indian Penal Code. It is alleged in the written report that on the date of occurrence, petitioner and other co-accused persons entered into the house of informant and tried to outrage her modesty. Counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is not named in the written report. He has been implicated in the instant case on account of land dispute between them. Both parties are Gotiyas.

Petitioner is in custody since 27.6.2019 having clean antecedent.
