The petitioner seeks bail in Industrial Area P.S. Case No.48 of 2018 registered under Section 420 of the Indian Penal Code and 3⁄4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

The gist of the allegation is that the marriage of the petitioner was settled with Pinki Kumari, the informant but later on, the petitioner refused to marry with the informant due to nonfulfillment of demand of dowry. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that marriage of the petitioner was never settled with the informant and the petitioner did not demand any dowry. Petitioner is in jail since 11.08.2018.

No.61470 of 2018 (2) dt.06-10-2018 Considering the facts aforesaid and the nature of allegation made against the petitioner and the fact that the petitioner has remained in jail for about two months, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Vaishali at Hajipur in connection with Industrial Area P.S. Case No.48 of 2018, corresponding to G.R. No.1491 of 2018.
