Petitioner is in custody since 20.08.2016 in connection with Complaint Case No. 972 (C) of 2013 registered under Sections 323, 324, 379, 494, 498-A, and 504 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of the D.P. Act.

Accusation is of torture for non fulfillment of dowry demand.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the general and omnibus allegation has been made against the petitioner. The petitioner never demanded dowry nor he assaulted or tortured the complainant in any manner. The petitioner also admits his marriage with the complainant and he is ready to keep her as wife with full

Considering the nature of accusation, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand rupees only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned S.D.J.M., Supaul in connection with Complaint Case No. 972 (C) of 2013.
