The petitioner seeks bail in Sarmera Police Station Case No. 20 of 2018, initially registered for the offences punishable under Sections 365/120B/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Later on, after the death of one Pankaj Kumar, Sections 364/302/201 of the Indian Penal Code was added. Learned Senior Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that even the person, who had confessed his guilt in course of investigation, has been granted regular bail by this Court by order, dated 09.07.2018, passed in Criminal Misc. No. 39630 of 2018. He contends that the case of the present petitioner is on better footing than the said coaccused Mohan Prasad.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.61865 of 2018(2) dt.06-10-2018 2/2 I find substance in the submission so advanced, this application is, accordingly, allowed.

Let the petitioner, Bajrangi Singh, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand), with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Nalanda at Biharsharif, in Sarmera Police Station Case No. 20 of 2018.
