====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SANJAY PRIYA ORAL ORDER 25-10-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned A.P.P. for the State.

The petitioner seeks bail in Kuchaikot P.S. Case No. 191/2018, instituted for the offences under 30(a), 30(b), 30(c), 38, 41(a) and 41(b) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. It is alleged in the written report that a truck was intercepted and on search made by the informant, a box was found constructed just beside the driver cabin and 1900 litres and 800 ml of foreign liquor was found stored in the aforesaid cabin. Petitioner is said to be driver of aforesaid truck. From the written report itself, it appears that aforesaid foreign liquor was stored with the knowledge of the petitioner. In view of such, this Court is not inclined to grant bail

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.64118 of 2018 (2) dt.25-10-2018 2/2 to the petitioner at this stage. Accordingly, prayer for bail of petitioner is rejected.

The petitioner is given liberty to renew his prayer for bail after six months in the event no substantive progress is made in trial.
