The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Alamnagar P.S. Case No.118 of 2016/G.R. Case No.664 of 2016 registered under Section 47(a) of the Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016. The accusation is of recovery of five liters country made liquor, kept in a plastic gallon, from the house of the petitioner. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner having no criminal antecedent is in custody since 29.08.2016.

Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.1607 of 2017 (2) dt.19-01-2017 2/2 bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Madhepura, in connection with Alamnagar P.S.
