This is a petition for grant of anticipatory bail for offence under Sections 379 of the Indian Penal Code and 135 of the Bihar Electricity Act, 2003.

The authorities of Electricity Department raided the premise of this petitioner and it was found that the petitioner was using electricity without connection, as such, caused loss of Rs.1,67,788/- to the electricity company.

Submission of the petitioner is that during investigation nothing was brought on record to substantiate the allegation in the first information report.

However, no motive for false allegation is there against the petitioner. Hence, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail.

The prayer for anticipatory bail is refused.
