By way of the present application preferred under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner seeks a direction to be issued to the respondents to release the auto-rickshaw bearing registration No. BR-0I GB/1407 in favour of the petitioner which has been seized in connection with Digha P.S.Case No. 148 of 2014 registered under Section 7 of the Essential Commodities Act.
