JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 03-10-2018 By way of the present application, the petitioner seek to modify the order dated 11.05.2018 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 27650 of 2018, by which the petitioner was granted anticipatory bail.

However, the present modification application has been filed for extension of time for furnishing bail bond in case of arrest or surrender. It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that wife of the petitioner was suffering from cancer, who died during course of her treatment and there was also marriage of his elder son and due that very reason, he could not surrender within the time prescribed by this Court vide order dated 11.05.2018.

Heard learned A.P.P. also.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.60841 of 2018 (2) dt.03-10-2018 2/2 Considering the averments made in modification application as well as the submission of learned counsel for the petitioner, the order dated11.05.2018 is modified to the extent that further two weeks time from the date of receipt of this order is allowed to the petitioner to surrender before the court below for the purpose of furnishing bail bonds.

With the above observation, this modification application is allowed.

Let this order be communicated to the concerned court below forthwith.
