The petitioner is languishing in custody for the offences punishable under Sections 399/402/414 of the Indian Penal Code, Sections 20/22 of the N.D.P.S. Act and Section 25(1-b)a/26/35 of the Arms Act in connection with Mirganj P.S. Case No. 163 of 2016.

Earlier prayer for bail was refused by this Court on 21.03.2017.

From the physical possession of the petitioner fire-arm and cartridges were recovered. However, from the vehicle on which petitioner was allegedly travelling more than three kilograms of Ganja was recovered. The petitioner has got criminal antecedents of serious nature of cases. The petitioner is in custody since 24.06.2016. However, the report of the learned trial Judge reveals that several

Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Hence, the prayer for bail is refused. The Court-below is expected to dispose of the trial within six months.
