This application for regular bail arises out of Falka (Pothia) P.S. Case No. 290/2018 for the offences under Sections 30(a) and 37(b) read with Section 13 of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

From the possession of the petitioner, it is alleged in the First Information Report, 25 liters of country made liquor was recovered. It is also alleged that, upon enquiry, the petitioner informed the police that he was indulging in trade of country made liquor.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he has remained in custody since 25.07.2018. It is also submitted that the petitioner's implication is not bona fide.

Let the petitioner above named be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Addl. Sessions Judge-II-cum-Special Judge, Katihar, in Falka (Pothia) P.S. Case No. 290/2018.
