Patna High Court CWJC No.19967 of 2013 (4) dt.28-03-2016 2/2 CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE BIRENDRA PRASAD VERMA ORAL ORDER 28-03-2016 Despite repeated calls, none appears on behalf of the petitioners in support of the present writ petition, though the name of the learned counsel appearing on their behalf is printed in the daily cause list.
The learned AC to PAAG, appearing on behalf of the respondents, on the other hand, by referring to the averments made in the counter affidavit filed on behalf of the respondent nos. 2 to 4, submits that the award was properly prepared by looking into all the relevant materials and therefore, the notices issued under Section 12 (2) of The Land Acquisition Act, 1894 cannot be legally faulted and the writ petition is liable to be dismissed. Be that as it may, since none is appearing on behalf of the petitioners, the writ petition stands dismissed for want of prosecution.
