JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 06-03-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1. (i) For issuance of a Writ of Certiorari Mandamus calling for the records of the first respondent in O.A./310/00917/2015 dated 21.03.2017 and quash the same and consequently direct the fourth respondent to treat the retirement date of the petitioner as on 01.07.2021 and grant all the consequential benefits including the pensionary benefits.

Patna High Court CWJC No.18448 of 2021(2) dt.06-03-2024 2/3 (ii) For directing the respondent authorities to consider the date of retirement of the petitioner on 01.7.2021 instead of 30.6.2021.

(iii) For Directing the respondents to give all the promotion to the petitioner on the post of Principal Chief Commissioner of income tax which is pending before the respondent since February 2021.

(iv) For directing the respondent to fix the pension of the petitioner in the light of his promotion on the post of Principal Chief Commissioner of income tax.

(v) For directing the respondents to pay all the retirement benefits to the petitioner in the light of his promotion on the post of Principal Chief Commissioner of income tax.

(vi) For directing the respondent to pay the half yearly increment to the petitioner which fall due on 01.07.

2021.

(vii) For directing the respondent to pay the full salary for the month of July 2021."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of

Patna High Court CWJC No.18448 of 2021(2) dt.06-03-2024 3/3 the petitioner to approach the respondent authorities for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The present writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
