BEFORE THE LOK ADALAT HELD AT HIGH COURT PATNA MA No.147 of 2021 Petitioner : The National Insurance Company Limited Respondent : Priyanka Shrivastava Present:- Member(Judicial) :Mr. Justice Chandra Shekhar Jha Member(Legal Profession) : Vinod Kumar AWARD The dispute between the parties having been referred for determination to the Lok Adalat and the parties having compromised/ settled the case/matter, the following award is passed in terms of the settlement:

Office has reported that in the order dated 10.05.2025 passed in M.A. No. 147 of 2021, the name of Hon'ble Mr. Justice "Chandra Shekhar Jha" has inadvertently been typed/selected as "Mr. Justice Ashok Kumar Pandey."

2. Let it be corrected accordingly as to reflect the name of Hon'ble Mr. Justice "Chandra Shekhar Jha" in place of "Mr. Justice Ashok Kumar Pandey" in the order dated 10.05.2025.

3. Considering the aforesaid, earlier order dated 10.05.2025 which was uploaded on website be deleted from the website.

4. NIC and office are directed to take appropriate steps in view of aforesaid correction.

5. It is submitted by learned counsel appearing for the

appellant that he be permitted to withdraw the present appeal, as appellant-company agreed to honour the award under challenge.

6. In view of the aforesaid, appellant is directed to pay opposite parties in terms of award as passed by 1st Additional District and Sessions Judge cum Motor Vehicle Accident Claim Tribunal, Muzaffarpur dated 03.12.2019, within six weeks from the date of receipt of this order.

7. After realization of award, statutory amount if any, paid by the appellant/company be returned, within two weeks.
