2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case, registered for offence punishable under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 351(2), 352, 109, 85 of the B.N.S., 2023 and Section 3, 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

3. The informant, who is wife of petitioner, alleges that her husband used to torture and beat her for dowry. She further apprehends that she might be killed by him and thereafter, on 13.03.2025, her husband (petitioner) and Sautan demanded ten lakh rupees, as dowry, and objection, both of them brutally assaulted her. During course of treatment, the informant died.
