JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 25-10-2016 Heard learned counsels for the petitioner, informant and the State.

The petitioner being the husband of the informant is languishing in custody since 25.07.2016 in a case registered for the offences punishable under sections 498A/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. Basic accusation is of torture for non-fulfillment of dowry demand.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner admits his marriage with the informant and he is ready to keep her as wife with full dignity and honour. A statement to that effect has been made in para 8 of the petition which reads as follows:- "That again the contents of FIR itself is suggestive of

Learned counsel for the informant submits that though she is not ready to resume the conjugal life, but she is ready to settle the issue on payment of one time settlement amount.

Considering the nature of accusation and the investigation being concluded, let the above named petitioner be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Patna, in connection with Patrakar Nagar P.S. Case No.114/2016. (Dinesh Kumar Singh, J) Ashwini/- U T
