1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Gamhariya P.S. Case No. 81 of 2024 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Excise Act read with Section 21(c) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance Act.

3. In the nature of allegation as alleged in the FIR, the Court is not inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner as the informant alleges that 127.5 liters of codeine cough syrup was recovered and case is instituted under the Excise Act and the NDPS Act.

4. Accordingly, the instant anticipatory bail application stands rejected.
