JUSTICE BIBEK CHAUDHURI ORAL ORDER 09-04-2025 Mr. Anil Kumar Rai, learned Advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner, has prayed for adjournment of the hearing of this case on the ground of the otherwise engagement of Mr. Uday Kumar, the learned Advocate on record.

2. The instant writ petition is filed for a direction by issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent authorities to institute IFR on the basis of a complaint dated 25th August 2024. The State respondents stating, inter alia, that on the basis of the information dated 25th August 2024, the police have already registered an FIR before the Sahebpur Kamal Police Station bearing case P.S. Case No. 277 of 2024 under Section 115(2)/126(2)/303(2)/351(2)/352 of the BNS against the accused persons, and the case is under investigation.

3. In view of such action already taken by the police
