2. The present petition has been preferred for the following relief(s):

for issuance of an appropriate writ/writs, order/orders, direction/directions in the nature of

Patna High Court CWJC No.12627 of 2025(3) dt.13-07-2026 2/2 Mandamus directing the Respondents District Land Settlement Officer, Bhagalpur to correct the current Revisional Survey Khatiyan in which petitioners land has wrongly been entered in the name of other persons in view of Kramik/cadastral khatiyan in which the land in question is entered in name of petitioners ancestor.

And/or pass such other order or orders as your Lordships may deem fit and proper."

3. After some argument, learned counsel for the petitioners submit that they shall be approaching before the respondent no. 5, the District Land Settlement Officer, Bhagalpur for the redressal of the grievance.

4. Learned State counsel has no objection to it.

5. In that background, the writ petition stands disposed of allowing the petitioners to approach the concerned Officer within a period of four weeks who shall be duty bound to look into the matter and pass an appropriate order, in accordance with law, preferably within a period of four months thereafter.
