1. Heard learned counsel for the parties.

2. The instant application has been filed by the petitioner praying for modification of the order dated 7.3.2025 passed in Cr. Misc. no.10741 of 2025 whereby while granting bail to the petitioner in connection with Excise P.S. Case no.904 of 2024, the petitioner was directed to surrender in the learned Court below within a period of four weeks.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for reasons beyond her control, the petitioner, who happens to be a lady and resides out of the State of Bihar, could not surrender within the time granted in the order granting bail. It is prayed that in the facts of the case, the period for the petitioner to surrender be extended by a further period of four weeks from

4. Heard learned A.P.P. for the State.

5. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the contents of the petition and the submissions made, the Court is satisfied that the petitioner has made out a case for modification of the order dated 7.3.2025.

6. The order dated 7.3.2025 passed in Cr. Misc. no.10741 of 2025 granting bail to the petitioner in connection with Excise P.S. Case no.904 of 2024 is modified to the extent that the time granted therein for the petitioner to surrender in the learned Court below is extended by a further period of four weeks from today. The remaining part of the order dated 7.3.2025 remains unchanged.
