JUSTICE RAVI RANJAN ORAL ORDER (Per: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE) 27-08-2018 Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw present petition in view of the subsequent order passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court as well as implementation of the scheme for purchase of medicines and surgical products to be supplied in the entire State of Bihar, now to be procured by the Bihar Medical Services and Infrastructure Corporation Limited.

Learned Advocate General has also stated at the Bar that the conditions in the tenders for supply of medicines/surgical items, which are being implemented in the other States, including the State of Gujarat, shall also be studied and, if required, the same shall be incorporated in the future tenders, which shall be issued for purchase of medicines and surgical items in the State. Let the appropriate authority look into the same.

With this, the present petition is disposed of as not pressed.
