JUSTICE SUDHIR SINGH ORAL ORDER (Per: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE) 29-06-2015 This writ petition was taken up on the basis of a letter dated 29.05.2015 addressed by one Mr. Rauf Miyan alleging that though his daughter, by name Julekha Parveen, was married to one Md. Tahir @ Bittu Miyan, son of Latif Khalifa of Bhauliya village of Sasaram District, died on 10th March, 2015 under mysterious circumstances and a complaint was submitted to the Nauhatta police station, no steps were taken, much less the accused were arrested.

Sri Anjani Kumar, learned Additional Advocate General- 6 appeared in the matter on 23.06.2015, and sought time to obtain instructions.

Today, a counter affidavit is filed by the Station

Patna High Court Cr. WJC No.617 of 2015 (3) dt.29-06-2015 2/2 House Officer, Nauhata Police Station. It is stated that Nauhatta P.S. Case No.30 of 2015 was registered on 20th June, 2015 alleging offences punishable under Sections 304B/ 328/ 201/ 34 IPC read with Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act against the accused named therein. It was also stated that the accused has since been arrested.

In view of this development, we do not feel necessity of passing further order.

The writ petition is closed.
