In the present writ petition the petitioner has prayed for quashing of confiscation proceeding i.e. Confiscation Case No. 48 of 2015.

It has been admitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that his vehicle i.e. a tractor, was seized by the forest officials on the allegation of violation of the provisions of the Indian Forest Act, 1927 (Bihar Amendment Act 1989 Act 9 of 1990).

Learned counsel for the petitioner accepts that the vehicle in question has already been released.

Patna High Court CWJC No.8834 of 2015 (2) dt.13-08-2015 2/2 The court is of the opinion that since the vehicle has already been released, whatever point the petitioner wants to take, may take in the confiscation proceeding. The writ petition stands dismissed.
