2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Begusarai Excise P.S. Case No.211 of 2025 instituted under Sections 30(a) and 32(3) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

3. There is a recovery of 2960 litres of ethanol/spirit from a mini tanker.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case due to local politics. Further submission is that the petitioner was neither present at the spot as alleged and nothing has been recovered from conscious possession of the petitioner.

There is no independence witness to the seizure of the said illicit ethanol/spirit. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he undertakes to cooperate in the investigation and trial.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of learned counsels for the parties, in the event of arrest or surrender before the Court below within six weeks from today, the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Exclusive Special Judge-II, Begusarai in connection with Begusarai Excise P.S. Case No.211 of 2025, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
