The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Bhagwanpur P.S. Case No.105 of 2019 registered under Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

The informant got information that Umesh Choudhary brought liquor on his red colour magic vehicle bearing registration No.BR09M-2667 and parked the vehicle in front of a shop. On such information, a raid was conducted. The vehicle was recovered and Umesh Choudhary was apprehended. About 6 liters Indian made foreign liquor was recovered from the vehicle. Umesh Choudhary is said to have disclosed the name of the petitioner as the person who managed to flee away. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that

It was Umesh Choudhary who was carrying 26 bottles containing Indian made foreign liquor of Royal Challenge Whiskey. Petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. Taking into consideration the facts aforesaid, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the order, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge II-cum-Special Judge, Excise Act, Begusarai in connection with Bhagwanpur P.S.
