The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Madanpur PS Case No. 45 of 2020 instituted for the offences under Sections 302, 201 & 34 of the Indian Penal Code. 3.

The earlier bail application of the petitioner was twice rejected vide orders 05-03-2021 & 10-08-2022, passed in Cr. Misc. No. 39377 of 2020 & Cr. Misc. No. 47226 of 2021, respectively.

A report was called for from the Trial Court. It has been reported that evidence of all the witnesses charged in this case has been completed and the statement of accused has also been recorded under Section 313 of the Cr.P.C. on 29-10-2024

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.62427 of 2023(6) dt.08-01-2025 2/2 and at present, the case is fixed for defense evidence. 5.

This Court would further take note of the fact that petitioner is in custody since 04-06-2020. Since, from perusal of the report, it appears that trial is on the verge of its conclusion, this Court, at this stage, is not inclined to take a different view of the matter.

Prayer for bail is, accordingly, rejected.
